Summary:

Analyzes and measures the effectiveness of existing business processes and develops sustainable, repeatable and quantifiable business process improvements. Researches best business practices within and outside the organization to establish benchmark data. Collects and analyzes process data to initiate, develop and recommend business practices and procedures that focus on enhanced safety, increased productivity and reduced cost. Determines how new information technologies can support reengineering business processes | May specialize in one or more of the following areas: benchmarking, business process analysis and reengineering, change management and measurement, and/or process-driven systems requirements.



Major Position Responsibilities

    Studies organizational processes and operations and develops quality and efficiency improvements.
  • Evaluates internal processes and identifies opportunities for improvements.
  • Gathers data for key performance indicators for functions being reviewed, evaluates current state, and proposes future state goals and objectives.
  • Measures results of implemented improvement strategies and modifies continuous improvement programs in response.
  • Assists in the development and delivery of continuous improvement related training programs.


Basic Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree OR Equivalent Combination of Relevent Education &/ or Experience
  • 2-4 years experience relevant to the positions functional area

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Operations or related field preferred
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certified

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Project management skills.

Other Requirements:

  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Less than 25% travel likely
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time
  • Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential
