With over 110 years in business in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Black-Top Paving, a Journey Group Division, is growing and seeking a hardworking Asphalt Screed Operator to join our team to assist in operating screed and other heavy equipment as well as luting and shoveling back-top. Be a part of a team that prioritizes safety, respect, and doing the right things, always.

Qualified candidates will have:



  • Technical college education or equivalent in work experience.
  • Heavy equipment operator certification.
  • Basic paver knowledge - ability to read, understand and follow job jacket instructions.
  • Valid driver's license and evidence of insurability.
  • 30-hour OSHA compliance in construction training.
