Summary:

The Logistics Analyst II will support the Force Projection Directorate (FPD) for US Army Medical Materiel Agency (USAMMA). This position provides support in medical acquisition, supply chain and logistics activities across the full spectrum of military health care worldwide and its operational forces during peacetime and wartime missions.


Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Property inventory, medical acquisition logistics, medical set assembly management, logistics assistance, and strategic medical stock management.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and technical, administrative, editorial and graphics assistance, as necessary, for the purpose of preparing special reports; studies; analysis; and briefing papers on various financial, administrative, and business process matters related to overall activities and process management.
  • Such work includes conducting information searches; scientific, medical, financial, and technical writing; editing; graphics preparation; and report layout and production.
  • The Contractor will explain methodologies that have been employed, discuss findings, list possible alternatives for consideration, and rank the alternatives with explanations as to the advantages and disadvantages of each.
  • Data administration and archival records.
  • Administrative support services include overseeing scheduling meetings between Contractor and USAMMA for any updates to include personnel, travel, or day to day business functions, and making travel arrangements for necessary personnel for identified missions to various APS sites.
  • The contractor shall perform writing tasks in support of the Logistical Assistance Program.
  • Activities to include typing routine letters and memos; validating the memos, reports, EXSUMs, and other correspondences for format and content consistent with the Army Correspondence regulations (AR 25-50) that are deemed

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Shall become familiar with and understand the DoD 5000 and the associated acquisition procedures.
  • Solid understanding of logistics principles and distribution management
  • Proficiency in logistics software and tools
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with diverse teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently on moderately complex tasks while contributing to team efforts
  • Familiarity with inventory management and cost-saving strategies

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 - 4 years of related experience
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting
  • Must be a US citizen
  • Ability to successfully pass an employment background check

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associates degree in a related field
  • Certification in logistics or supply chain management is a plus
  • TEWLS knowledge

The salary range for this position is $50,000 to $65,000 annually.
