PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENT

Responsible for development and management of an enterprise marketing research and data strategy program that supports the FS & GROWMARK brand multi-channel enterprise marketing initiatives. Collects and analyzes market data, customer behavior, and competitive trends to provide actionable insights that drive strategic marketing decisions. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to support customer targeting and campaign effectiveness.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Conducts quantitative and qualitative research to understand customer preferences, behaviors, and market trends.

Analyzes survey results, sales data, digital and print marketing analytics, market trends, and customer feedback to identify actionable insights.

Works with third-party agencies and digital channel analysts to develop comprehensive reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate findings clearly to stakeholders leveraging statistical analysis tools and data visualization tools.

Uses both primary and secondary research to uncover consumer motivations, attitudes, and pain points.

Monitors competitor activities and strategies, providing benchmark data and performance assessments.

Monitors and measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns through both in-flight and post-campaign analysis and suggest improvements.

Tracks industry trends and forecast market developments, providing strategic recommendations.

Works with member/retail, sales teams, and marketing strategists to integrate research findings into marketing strategies.

Coordinates with third-party research agencies and vendors for specialized research needs.

Meets campaign deadlines to achieve objectives. Effectively guide enterprise, member, and retail marketing teams in identifying and developing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), goals, and other quantifiable metrics that align with the overarching enterprise marketing strategy and campaigns.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

Analyzes industry and internal research for strategic recommendations using data analytics software, content management systems, social media listening tools and customer relationship management tools. Identify and leverage external expertise as appropriate.

Ability to understand how to apply statistical techniques to group your data into relevant and actionable findings. Ability to proficiently present collected relevant data through dashboards and other data visualization tools in an understandable comprehensible way.

Responsible for encouraging, supporting, and promoting innovative practices, ideas, and technologies within the team.

Follows GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.

Performs all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

Normally requires a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or the equivalent thereof, and 5+ years or more of marketing related work experience to demonstrate strategic marketing knowledge, critical thinking, project management, and presentation skills.

Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.

Knowledge of customer segmentation, brand tracking, and consumer behavior models.

Cross-functional collaboration with marketing, product development, and sales teams.

Knowledge and experience with data analysis software, survey tools, CRM platforms, and communication tools.

Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.

Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and the ability to travel independently and overnight when necessary.

May required to lift and move 21-50 lbs.

May be required to work beyond what are considered normal business hours.

Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a valid passport.

Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK's policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.

Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to base pay, certain roles may be eligible for bonuses, incentives, and commissions.
