Project Specialist Change Management

The duration of this project is expected to go until July 2026, with effort to re-assign or find a permanent role for strong performance.

Job Summary

Join our change management team on a large workforce management implementation, requiring both technology and behavioral change of our team members. This role will be responsible for supporting all change management efforts, including, but not limited to, stakeholder analysis, impact analysis, implementation of change-related communications and tactics, such as communication strategizing and planning, change agent network, focus groups, organizational readiness assessments, and creating end user documentation.

Under general direction, provides decision support and analysis to the Executive Team in accordance with the direction of the organization. Specialist will support the President and other Executive Leadership Team members with all aspects of the development and implementation of assigned projects. Takes projects from original concept through final implementation. Works with all areas affected by the project including end users, project sponsors and senior leadership. Defines project scope and objectives. Develops detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, realization schedules and status reports. Conducts project meetings and is responsible for project tracking and analysis. Ensures adherence to quality standards and reviews project deliverables. Specialist will create presentation ready materials to assist in making recommendations to the organization.

Essential Functions
  • Conducts stakeholder analysis and identifies the key stakeholders and their needs, expectations, and potential resistance to the change.
  • Conducts change impact analysis and assess the magnitude and scope of the change on the organization, processes, systems, and people.
  • Develops and implements change management strategies and tactics, in alignment with the project objectives and the change management lead's guidance.
  • Develops and delivers change-related communications and messages, using various channels and formats, to inform, engage, and motivate the stakeholders.
  • Designs and facilitates change-related workshops, and events, to prepare, and support the stakeholders for the change.
  • Monitors and measures the effectiveness of the change management activities and the progress of the change adoption.
  • Provides feedback and recommendations to the change management lead and the project team on the change management issues and risks and propose mitigation actions.
  • Collaborates and coordinates with the other change management consultants, the project team, and the business units to ensure alignment and integration of the change management efforts.
  • Continuously refines deliverables as additional details are uncovered and project needs evolve.
  • Other duties as assigned by change management leads and project manager.
Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in health care administration or related field
  • 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to tailor the message to different audiences and levels
  • Strong facilitation and training skills, with the ability to design and deliver engaging and effective learning interventions
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct stakeholder and impact analysis, and develop change management plans and strategies
  • Highly adaptable and flexible, with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Team player and collaborator, with the ability to build and maintain positive and productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Preferred

  • Master's Degree
  • Change management experience is not required but highly recommended. The skills acquired during this project will provide a strong foundation for future positions within the organization.
  • Experience in the software industry or the software being implemented
