City/State Hampton, VA Work Shift First (Days) Overview: Sentara Careplex Hospital is hiring a Neurodiagnostic Technologist to join our team! This position qualifies for a Sign On Bonus! Ask for more details. SHIFT: Full-Time; M-F 7:30am - 4:30pm; Call Required. POSITION OVERVIEW: Performs a wide variety of neurophysiological diagnostic studies in the laboratory, intra-operatively and in the intensive care settings; operates and performs preventative maintenance on complex monitoring instruments; documents all acquired data for interpretation; ensures tests performed are properly ordered, charged and reported; makes independent assessments that may indicate urgent medical interaction. Travel to other area hospitals is required, as needed. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: License and Certification Basic Life Support Experience 2 or more years of experience in the Neurodiagnostic field which includes 1 years of experience in long-term monitoring for epilepsy. 1 year experience in Neurodiagnostic field in lieu of Trade School Credential in long-term monitoring (CLTM) or CLTM Eligible.
