Itron's Digital Marketing Team is seeking a digital marketing front-end developer to support our global marketing team. Responsibilities will include leading and supporting digital projects including website initiatives for Itron's public website, customer portal and partner portal, email campaigns, social media, digital advertising and analytics. Taking projects from initial conception and scoping through to completion, including reporting throughout the project and maintaining budget and schedule parameters.

You will work closely with IT development, extended marketing and product business teams to ensure that key features of Itron websites and digital assets are not only aesthetically pleasing but also functional and optimized for performance.

To be successful in this role, you should have experience with the latest front-end development technologies, website accessibility standards, and be comfortable creating wireframes and mockups to communicate design ideas effectively.

The ideal candidate will work independently and apply industry practices and solutions to creatively resolve issues or deliver outcomes having a wide and diverse scope impacting the function and/or sales region. In addition, the digital marketing expert contributes to organizational objectives with short-term goals related to event planning, media management, lead generation, website optimization, reputation and brand/product awareness, while demonstrating initiative and sound judgement.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create visually appealing, user-friendly web pages, email templates and other digital assets that meet both external and internal stakeholder needs.

• Design and develop high-quality websites and landing pages with a focus on user experience, performance and accessibility.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into design concepts.

• Coordinate with third-party platform and development vendors, including managing bugs and enhancement through their ticketing systems.

• Ensure that all designs are responsive and optimized for various devices and browsers.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies.

• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members. May also be engaged in hiring, training, coaching and development of employees to maximize performance, promote career growth and support a high-performing team.

• Accomplishes operational and/or functional objectives that enable the successful execution of department goals; tracks, monitors and reports on KPIs and action plans.

• Meets business ad hoc requests: identifies market trends, collects relevant information, provides detailed analysis and deliverables (promotional content, documentation, presentations, trainings).

• Liaises with diverse departments (IT, Product Management, Product Marketing, Sales) and provides training to increase lead generation and promote product/brand awareness.

• Leads projects within scope of responsibilities.

• Manages relationships and negotiations with external partners/suppliers.

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.

• Salesforce sales and marketing clouds

• Liferay or similar web platforms a plus.
