About This Role:

The Data Quality Manager is critical in ensuring data quality in Forrester's published research and collaborates closely with the research organization to analyze and provide insights from Forrester's vast range of quantitative data. This individual works with analysts and survey operations teams to identify, correctly interpret, synthesize, and analyze syndicated primary research data that address business needs. This role is key in both creating and reviewing data analysis to ensure accuracy before documents are published.

Job Description:

  • Collaborate with the research organization to learn about their research efforts and identify the most valuable global business or consumer data and analytical approaches that address the business needs.
  • Analyze quantitative business or consumer primary research data to surface key findings that relate to the business needs expressed by the research team.
  • Provide data insights and quantitative analysis, specifically focusing on the business context of the request.
  • Work with peers in analytics to support or create segmentations, frameworks, or profiles to create new lenses to analyze data.
  • Review data analysis conducted by research members of research. Ensure the analysis was correctly done and data is accurately cited prior to publication.
  • Share data interpretation, use, and analysis best practices with collaboration partners to help enable their analytical efficacy.

Job Requirements:

  • A bachelor's degree; a master's degree in statistics, business technology, or economics is preferred.
  • A background in quantitative data analysis and at least three years of data analysis experience.
  • Sharp attention to detail, high personal standards for quality, and superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of and experience with a software package, such as SPSS or R; the ability to conduct multivariate statistical analysis, such as regression, factor analysis, and cluster analysis.
