The Director of Inclusion will report to the VP of DEI. As a member of Gartner's DEI Center of Excellence, the Director of Inclusion will play an integral part in driving an inclusive culture at Gartner. This leader will be a strategic global subject matter expert who has the ability to assess organizational gaps, manage programs and provide guidance to leaders that supports our business priorities, talent strategy and culture. This pivotal role will drive consistent execution of inclusion programs across the enterprise supporting retention.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Work with the VP of DEI to develop and execute the global inclusion strategy, and drive an aligned vision of plans and programs through the Inclusion Councils
  • Partner with VP of DEI to define the initiatives that Inclusion Councils will drive to support outcomes aligned with Gartner's business priorities and talent strategy (increasing engagement, inclusion, development and retention).
  • Maintain a playbook and governance model to provide clear direction and focus for our global inclusion councils
  • Help in implementing an approach that defines, enhances and measures success for the global inclusion councils.
  • Through the inclusion councils, partner with ERG's to promote engagement within the business.
  • When needed provide support to identify, develop and execute data-driven, high impact programs and activities to attract, grow and retain a diverse array of top talent with a global lens
  • As needed provide consultative experience and enablement support for your client groups and key stakeholders to drive inclusion across the enterprise
  • Keep abreast of global DEI research insights, impactful updates/changes and leading and innovative practices to provide contemporary guidance to senior leaders and support to HR CoEs
  • Stay aware of global political, social, legal and business developments that may impact DEI at Gartner and provide appropriate guidance.
  • Develop and lead a team to support all initiatives
  • Build relationships with key stakeholders in order to influence change and drive global initiatives

Requirements:

  • 7 - 10 years as an HR or DEI leader required
  • Demonstrated experience in helping organizations align inclusion practices with business priorities to support individual and organizational performance
  • Proven ability to execute on programs/projects that drive change and support the company's growth
  • Excellent analytical and project management skills to prioritize efforts
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to drive initiatives to closure
  • Excellent communication skills (written, oral, and presentation)
  • Excellent interpersonal, networking, and negotiating skills and the ability to effectively engage with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to influence associates and leaders at all levels without having direct reporting authority

Gartner believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is 116,000 USD - 164,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Our talent acquisition team will provide the specific opportunity on our bonus or incentive programs to eligible candidates.
