Description


  • Answers and directs all internal and external calls from the main hospital number in a prompt and courteous manner, working with audio and radio paging systems.
  • Answers and screens all internal and external calls and pages/direct callers and emergency teams to the appropriate individual or department
  • Provides daily maintenance service for the paging system.
  • Knowledge of workstation applications and UH on call system used in the department.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.
  • For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation.
  • Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.
  • Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
  • Full time 40 hours per week.
  • Monday-Friday with rotating weekends and holidays.
  • 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday-Friday.
  • 12:30 PM to 9:00 PM on the weekends.
