Position Description

Our Retail Operations Team is a growing a best in class organization within the company worldwide. With our partnerships with the top consumer electronics retailers and its experiential sites, Retail Operations is delivering a consumer experience to maximize both sales and consumer satisfaction.

In this role, you will drive program and project management within the Retail Operations PMO team. You will be responsible for the management of projects and programs within Retail, this role oversees the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of multiple projects.

Problems and issues faced may be vague, so the ideal candidate should be comfortable navigating ambiguity. You will direct project resources and workflow through all phases of each project's lifecycle, reporting on project statuses with clear KPIs at both the functional and executive levels.

The ideal candidate will have a sharp business mind and a proven ability to strategize and implement high-level program initiatives. As a natural-born leader, you will have a strong talent for project coordination and delegation. Ultimately, you are motivated by the desire to optimize productivity and nurture program success from inception to completion.

Responsibilities:

* Strategize, implement, and maintain program and project initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives

* Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement

* Maintain organizational standards of satisfaction, quality, and performance

* Lead multiple project groups, ensuring goals are reached on time and within both scope and budget

* Manage budget and funding channels for maximum productivity

* Work closely with the project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives

* Identify key requirements needed from cross-functional teams and external vendors

* Manage program and project teams for optimal return-on-investment, and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives

* Develop and manage budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives

* Work with other program managers and key stakeholders to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department

* Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for management and stakeholders

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field

* 6+ years in a project management; PMP certification strongly preferred

* Retail Store formatting, construction, and/or other Opening experience strongly preferred

* Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, communication, and organizational skills

* Working knowledge of project management tools; experience with Jira & Confluence strongly preferred

* Outstanding working knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes

* Proficient in MS Office products including Word, PowerPoint and Excel

Necessary Skills and Attributes:

Demonstrated ability to interact at all levels within customer organizations. The ability to negotiate with and convince others, in a potentially adversarial environment, including customer leadership, directors, and managers with opposing views to accept/approve plans, and technical and project recommendations. The ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple strategic programs and simultaneous performance objectives. The ability to write, read, interpret, explain, and act based on a thorough understanding of technical documents, engineering materials, and contracts or related documents. Ability to make professional sales and business presentations in writing, through email, reports, or orally, including complex business and technical matters to an audience of high technical skills, management, and operational experience. Ability to support a cross-functional team to achieve customer contracted objectives and specific team goals within established time frames and requirements. Assist in and if needed direct the team in lab and field trials related to the introduction of products sold to the customer.
