Responsible for providing patient services using medical ultrasound under the supervision of a physician responsible for the use and interpretation of ultrasound procedures.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: Graduate of an Allied Health program with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree required. A degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography preferred. Experience: No experience required.Diagnostic Medical Sonography experience preferred. Licensure: ARRT (S), ARDMS (AB) and/or ARDMS (OB) certification required. Registered Vascular Technologist certification required within 12 mos. of hire. American Heart Associate (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently bending/stooping, reaching (overhead, extensive, and repetitive); Repetitive motion: (computer keyboard). Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly; Ability to lift/push/pull 50 - 100lbs. May be exposed to cold, dust, noise, radiation, blood/body fluids and infectious disease.
