Reporting to the Global Product Marketing Manager and in close coordination with the North America Region Agriculture Brand leaders, the North America Product Marketing Manager (PMM) is responsible for the profitable growth of assigned product line. Develop strategic marketing plans through market research, competitive analysis, customer engagement and business planning. Play an active role in the total product lifecycle from product launch customer/dealer training, demos, sales, first set up, aftermarket etc. The Regional PMM is responsible for the new product introduction process within the marketing organization. Interact with Customers, Dealers, Market teams, Communication, Pricing, Training, Product Support, Parts, Network development and the Global Product Management team to achieve the goals. Metrics include Net Sales, Gross Margin, Profitability, Inventory, Marketing Units, Order Board, Market Share, Model Mix, and Customer Satisfaction.

Role is ideally located in the Midwest, specifically any one of the following states: Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Iowa, or Pennsylvania.



Responsibilities

    Manage and coordinate product offerings including selection of application offering(s), define frame for Market standards and Product Packaging. Analyze take rates and rationalize offering.
  • Build sales support and information materials for the marketing and sales department (Product Information Bulletins)
  • Leadership in the launch process, define key messaging, positioning (4P) of the new product, coordinate marketing actions (communication, training, pricing). Manages phase in and phase out of products. GDrive development and develop material for product launches (press releases, brochures, launch materials, customer presentations, videos and sales training materials).
  • Improving sales and profitability throughout product lifecycle: follow Key Performance Indicators, identify potential for growth and define action plans.
  • Hands-on in leading and coordinating a positive customer experience all the way from first contact with the product during Field demo, through sale and field set up till aftersales support. To enforce a great customer experience.
  • Work closely with the local Field product Specialists, Territory sales managers, Technical support and other regional stakeholders to develop and implement focused strategies to improve sales and market shares
  • Identify market trends, define a market roadmap and negotiate the product roadmap for North America with comprehensive business cases.
  • Supervise closely competition and provide information on key features, new products and collect price information.
  • Highlight product gaps and quantify business impact/potential (niche or large segment, low or high customer priority, low or high marginality).
  • Engaging with a 360 approach to the product and the services around, and pull the right stakeholders together within the organization, to ensure the best customer experience and success.
  • Evaluation and interpretation of customer feedback, customer satisfaction reports and research results
  • Drive and solve customer satisfaction issues. Help with special orders and ordering issues.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Economics, General Business or closely related field of study, plus six (6) years relevant professional experience.
  • Project management experience, strong analytical, organization skills and passion for the livestock and dairy business. In-depth machining knowledge of Self- Propelled Hay & Forage equipment and operation.
  • Demonstrate a dedication to customer service, the initiative to deliver results, be comfortable communicating across functions and be an encouraging member of the team.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook.
  • Advanced communication and presentation abilities required.
  • Preferred candidates will demonstrate ability to think outside the box and embrace challenges as opportunities.

The annual salary for this role is $80,625 - $118,000 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
