The Salvation Army Midland Divisional Headquarters located in St. Louis, Missouri, is looking for a Disaster Recovery Case Manager Supervisor. The Disaster Recovery Services Case Manager Supervisor will coordinate and deliver a temporary assistance project delivering long-term follow-up services for disaster survivors. These services include rapid response contact with survivors and periodic repeated contacts, including local travel, to meet survivors' material needs, inform them of emerging resources and resolve system impediments, and provide referrals to disaster and non-disaster services. This is a full-time Temporary position, 40 hours per week with starting pay of $51,000 per annually. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in human services field and two years related work experience with some supervisory experience. Combination of training and experience will be considered. Must have good communication skills and an ability to work with diverse cultures. Strong leadership style and good organizational skills required. Commitment to carry out The Salvation Army mission is essential. Knowledge of The Salvation Army and Government, State and community resources is helpful. Requires reliable transportation, a valid Driver's License and pass The Salvation Army Motor Vehicle Report screening. Must demonstrate ability to think independently and exercise sound judgment. Must be a team player, a self-starter, able to handle several projects at the same time and perform well with minimum supervision. Physical and Working Conditions Must be capable of performing the above essential duties in an office environment to include using a computer, answering phones, etc. Occasionally lifts 20 pounds and sometimes up to 40 pounds. Will occasionally move 50 or more pounds using dolly/cart/truck. Most work will be indoors in a temperature control environment. However, occasional outdoor travel is required in the summer and winter. Employee Status Full-time: Normal work hours will be determined by supervisor, however working additional hours including some weekends may be required.
