Manufacturing Maintenance Technician

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Be the point-of-contact for all equipment related concerns in ACH and ETI, including both preventive and reactive maintenance concerns. Effectively and efficiently resolve all equipment issues in a timely manner.
  • Interface with associates, members of the organization, vendor technical support staff and contractors to address and resolve problems with manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Identifies and sources parts, supplies and repair items as necessary. Performs evaluations of alternatives to improve cost and / or reliability of equipment.
  • Utilize maintenance requisition system (Fiix) to track and manage work orders.
  • Maintain the building and facilities which includes basic air/mechanical/HVAC support, working w/ external contractors to coordinate quoting, maintenance and follow up activities.
  • Coordinate annual Fire Inspections w/ the FAFD.
  • Complete EPA form R (Lead reporting) and any others required by local/state government.
  • Work w/ Operations and Engineering team to reconcile variances due to equipment functionality.
  • Define and implement continuous improvement projects related to manufacturing.
  • Maintain compliance to current ISO standards and customer specific requirements as applicable.
  • Coordinate and quote annual waste management services with Veolia to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and cost-effective disposal solutions.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.



QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a technical degree and/or training is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years' industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and basic electrical schematics.
  • Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with troubleshooting skills, and ability to repair systems independently.
  • Practical experience with automated equipment and robots, simple electrical systems, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
