As a Salon Attendant, you are an essential part of guest experience. Your approachable, and personable demeanor, coupled with your dedication to maintaining salon presentability, and delivering exceptional guest service will set the stage for the memories that guests can carry with them well past their stay with us. THE STARTING RATE: $14 THE SCHEDULE: On Call Salon Hours of Operation Monday to Sunday: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM https://aria.mgmresorts.com/en/amenities/spa-and-salon.html THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Cultivate premium guest experiences through positive interactions and offerings such as a beverages Remove soiled linen from hampers, and assist with washing, drying and folding of linen to include hair towels, capes and aprons Upkeep a safe and clean environment, removing used items and linen, while upholding adequate stock levels and replenish supplies as needed Follow all departmental and policies and procedures, including safety and sanitation policies Assist guests in the booking of salon services via spa and salon software, direct guests to their appointments and assist service providers Report any opportunities for improvement to Spa & Salon Leadership
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Must be a minimum of 21 years of age Currently holds or is able to obtain both a Food Handlers Card and Alcohol Awareness Card Is invested in obtaining valuable work experience, and pursuing future growth opportunities as a cosmetologist in a luxury resort setting Has a flexible schedule and the ability to work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate Is team-centric and personable with a professional appearance and demeanor Has a cosmetology license
