People * Customers * Trust Corporate End-User Systems - Intern at Counce TN Mill Position Summary: The purpose of this position is to develop a Co-op to provide implementation, configuration, support and troubleshooting of all hardware, operating systems, applications and policies related to desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile devices and kiosk machines in the end user environment. This position is part of the Information Technology Systems department, End-User Systems Support group. This person will interface with internal and external end-users to support and maintain end-user computing needs. Dimensions: This position will assist configures, deploys, patches, and upgrades current desktop operating systems and applications using Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) or other methods. This position will assist performs software application configurations, packaging, deployments, and troubleshooting of software applications for end users. This position deploys workstation operating system images, patches and updates, and driver packages per device model and type. This position creates, assists and supports Active Directory Group Policies (GPO), and OUs for workstation objects to control workstation configurations setup, access rights and security. Additionally, this position will travel and manage assigned projects as needed by the IT department. Principal Accountabilities:
Basic Qualifications: Must be currently enrolled at Mississippi State University, The University of Mississippi, Auburn University, University of Alabama, University of Maine, University of North Carolina State, Texas A&M University, University of Miami Ohio, Tennessee Technology University, or any University of TN and majoring in Information Technology Systems or related field and have completed the freshman year.
