Duties, Responsibilities & Other

Essential Duties and Responsibilities*:

This PA Lead will oversee a group of Project Analysts while also working independently on project accounting tasks. The PA Lead understands financial concepts, flow and impacts.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

    Supervise Billing Processes: Manage and train a team of PAs to ensure accurate and timely invoicing for assigned projects.
  • Oversee Revenue Assurance: Identify possible inaccuracies ensuring prevention in lost or inaccurate revenue reporting during project setup and invoicing.
  • Understand financial concepts: Understand and adhere to GAAP/FAR rules and regulations as related to KCI billing.
  • Project Accounting: Contract review to assure proper Dynamics project set up and archiving, review project financial performance, manage discipline DSO. Comply with ISO requirements.
  • Interpersonal Interactions: Interface with project managers, corporate finance, clients, service line leaders and other project analysts.

Qualifications

Education and/or Skills Required:

  • High School diploma required
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in billing operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership/management role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, analytical skills, understanding of business processes, and business acumen.
  • Ability to multitask Management and organizational leadership skills.
  • Understanding of the billing process and knowledge with the financial system.

Education and/or Work Experience Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field
  • Experience within the A/E/C industry preferred
  • Experience with various billing and project set up type (Lump sum, cost plus fixed fee, time and materials, etc.) preferred
  • Understanding of Microsoft Dynamics with AEC360 preferred
  • Pre-employment drug testing is required as a condition of employment.
