Job Summary

At W. C. Bradley Co. Outdoor Cooking, we are passionate about creating amazing outdoor cooking experiences. Our family of brands, including Char-Broil, Oklahoma Joe's, and Pit Boss, inspires people to elevate their grilling and smoking adventures. We are seeking a talented Copywriter to join our team and craft compelling, high-impact content while leveraging AI tools to enhance productivity and creativity.

The Copywriter will play a key role in developing engaging, brand-aligned copy for a variety of marketing channels, including digital, social, print, and email. This individual will harness their creative talents and utilize AI-driven tools to optimize workflows and scale content production without compromising quality. The role requires a deep understanding of the unique voice, tone, and messaging for each brand in our portfolio, ensuring content resonates with their respective audiences.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Write clear, persuasive, and engaging copy tailored to the distinct voices of each of brands for diverse platforms, including packing and POP, retailer websites, social media, email campaigns, product descriptions, and print materials.
  • Leverage AI tools and platforms to streamline content ideation, drafting, and editing, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing, design, and product teams to ensure all copy aligns with the specific brand guidelines and campaign objectives for each brand.
  • Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices in digital copy to improve visibility and engagement across all brand platforms.
  • Develop creative concepts and taglines that resonate with target audiences and drive conversions.
  • Edit and proofread content to maintain a consistent tone, voice, and style.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, including advancements in AI technologies and their application in content creation.
  • Other duties as deemed necessary.

Qualification Requirements

Minimum Education:



  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field


Minimum Work Experience:



  • 3+ years of professional copywriting experience, preferably within the consumer goods or outdoor cooking industries

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Proven experience using AI tools like ChatGPT, Jasper, or Copy.ai to enhance content production.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects for multiple brands.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and digital marketing strategies.
  • Familiarity with analytics tools to measure content performance and inform future strategies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong collaboration skills and an openness to feedback.
  • Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness.
