Manufacturing Engineer

You are a natural leader and change advocate who is looking to build a career to develop and grow Atlas Copco Mafi-Trench production capability through active collaboration with stakeholders. You are technically knowledgeable, naturally hands-on, and have a passion for improvement.

Compensation/Benefits

The compensation range for this position is between $90,854.40 - $133,744.00 annually. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of discretionary annual bonus. What you will own & improve:

  1. How to handle all aspects of project management for factory related projects from idea conception through implementation
  2. Improving and automating factory equipment and processes
  3. Ensure excellent and efficient focused technical support of production concerns and provide feedback to increase the overall quality of our business
  4. How to excel in interpersonal relationships including transparent communication, the ability to work in a team, and a positive make-happen attitude

What you already know:

  1. Have a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent hands-on skilled trade experience
  2. How to utilize engineering, manufacturing, and other teams as needed
  3. How to excel in interpersonal relationships including transparent communication, the ability to work in a team, and a positive make-happen attitude
  4. How to multi-task, work under stressful work conditions and have excellent problem-solving skills
  5. How to be organized, flexible and how to prioritize, plan and execute projects.
  6. Ability and willing to oversee support activities outside normal business hours when required

What you will learn (if you don't know already):

  1. How to implement and drive continuous improvement in production processes and procedures
  2. Project planning, execution, delivery, and reporting
  3. Monitoring and management of the cost performance of each assigned project
  4. How to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment and around large industrial equipment
  5. How to balance seemly conflicting daily pressures and priorities

  2. Improvements through idea generation to project completion
  3. Internal stakeholder satisfaction with work completed

About the Team:

This role will work and collaborate as an integral part of a tight-knit and dynamic team helping to drive impactful and lasting change. Other team members include the Manufacturing Engineers, Fabrication Department Supervisor, Assembly Department Supervisor, Test Department Supervisor, Facilities Supervisor and Machine Shop Supervisor who support a manufacturing facility of over 160 skilled technicians, mechanics, welders, and machinists.

Atlas Copco Mafi-Trench Company LLC is located on the beautiful Central Coast of California. We manufacture a wide range of Turbo Expanders and equipment that support sustainable resources. Locally our facility is a California Certified Green Business.
