Furnace Operator Responsible for learning furnace operating processes in obtaining high quality results of brazing, hardness and mechanical properties of sheet metal aircraft components. Functions and Responsibilities
Working Conditions Demonstrate proper and safe operation of equipment, and personal protective equipment including, but not limited to, safety glasses/chemical goggles, hearing protection, respirator, and heat-reflective gloves as required. Physical Requirements The furnace operator performs physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and frequent movement of the whole body, such as climbing, lifting to 50 pounds, balancing, and handling of material.
