Our Distribution Control and Integration Engineering team is at the forefront of technology development and our primary function is to utilize smart technology to allow our System Control Centers the ability to monitor and control the grid safely and efficiently. Our team provides the programming and troubleshooting of data concentrators (Orion LXs) that allow our Distribution, Sub-transmission and Transmission devices to communicate with our SCADA systems. As a Gridtern, you will be supporting engineers on day-to-day tasks associated with the development of all distribution and transmission control technologies. You will be in Syracuse, NY working in a Hybrid structure for the summer. You must be located within a commutable distance to the identified work location for the summer. What You'll Need

Salary Range $19.00 - $23.00 an hour (Undergraduate Student) $28.00 - $29.00 an hour (Graduate Student) Candidates will be assessed and provided offers based on major, degree type, and class year. Our Gridtern Program does not offer relocation, housing assistance, or public transportation reimbursement for Gridterns; however, we can provide a list of resources to utilize in making your arrangements. Must reside within our existing footprint, which includes Massachusetts, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Maine, Rhode Island, and Vermont. As a Gridtern, you should also reside within a reasonable, commutable distance to your assigned primary office. Applications close on February 5, 2025.
