**This position requires candidates already have an active secret clearance** Pay rate: $45/hour (per diem available for eligible candidates) Shifts: 1st and 2nd Duration: Open-ended long-term contract (with option to convert to direct hire) Description: * Seeking Assembly Mechanics that will be working in a role that requires an Active Secret Clearance. * Perform fabrication, change incorporation, assembly, and rework of sheet metal and/or composite components. * Work with blueprints, changes, specifications, and work orders to assemble and install structural components. * Setup and perform all manual and automated assembly operations required to accomplish assignments. * Move and/or obtain correct parts, materials, tools, assemblies, etc. * Use precision measuring instruments required to accomplish assignments. * Support the continuous flow of product within the manufacturing process by training, coaching, and assisting employees of all experience and classification levels. * Document any discrepancies according to specification, process, and procedure. Work Environment: * Assembly Mechanics will be working in an aviation manufacturing environment that will be considered secret and only accessible to those with the proper credentials. * All tools are provided. Desirable Skills & Qualifications: * Composite & Titanium Drilling * Composite & Sheet Metal Fabrication * Sealing - seal parts and assemblies, fillet and fay seal, apply leveling compound or scotch cast, etc. * Precision Bench Assembly - Assemble precision aircraft parts and assemblies such as landing gear * Sub-Assembly - Assemble parts to make sub-assemblies using templates, jigs, and fixtures Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $45.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
