Location: Oak Ridge, TN What You'll Do
Responsible for development of integrated schedule and cost project planning. Assist technical management in developing resource requirements to support the project cost estimate. Manage changes to the cost and schedule baseline utilizing established change control procedures and schedule analysis utilizing critical path method. Generate monthly performance measurement reports for the management team. Interface with project technical staff to define the scope of work, baseline changes, variance analysis, and implementation of corrective actions. Perform scoping reviews and limited information conceptual planning. Assist with identifying, quantifying, and analyzing project cost and schedule risks. Provide an interface with external independent reviews from DOE or other oversight agencies. The employee's primary duty is the performance of office or non-manual work directly related to the management or general business operations of the Company, and such primary duty includes the exercise of discretion and independent judgment denoted as follows: examples include - having the authority to formulate, affect, interpret, or implement management policies or operating practices; carrying out major assignments related to the operation of the Company's business; work that affects business operations of the Company to a major degree, and having the authority to commit the Company in matters having significant financial impact. Independent judgment and discretion involves the comparison and evaluation of possible courses of conduct and having the authority to make an independent choice, free from immediate direction with respect to matters of significance.. Requires a Q clearance; however all qualified candidates will be considered regardless of their current clearance status. The ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy Q clearance is required.
This position may require entry into the Material Access Areas (MAA) and participation in the Human Reliability Program (10 C.F.R. Part 712), which requires successful competition of a DOE counterintelligence evaluation and may include a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination.
