Summary
Performs a variety of clerical and technical duties under general supervision, reporting to a Laboratory Supervisor. Responsibilities include the receipt, accessioning, centrifugation, and decanting of patient specimens, as well as communicating with clinicians at the Front Window and over the phone.

Previous laboratory, healthcare and/or customer service experience 1-2 years required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Good interpersonal and communication skills so as to be able to interact effectively with individuals in the lab and the hospital.
- Ability to multitask and work accurately under stress of time constraints and heavy workload demands.
- Demonstrates excellent dependability, reliability, accuracy, prioritization ability, problem solving skills, customer service and teamwork.
