Requisition ID req32196 Working Title Research Scientist 2 Position Grade 12 Position Summary The Department of Family & Community Medicine at the University of New Mexico seeks a highly motivated team player with a commitment to implementation of research studies examining the potential use of psychedelic assisted therapies for addiction, PTSD, depression and other indication. The position includes being trained to become study coordinator studies of psilocybin assisted therapy for major depression and end of life mental health The scientist may also participate in the development and initiation of additional future studies. The Research Scientist 3 will assist with the recruitment, prescreening and screening of potential study participants including the development of lab procedures including schedule development and support during medication sessions. The research position may include training in specific psychological assessment measures including but not limited to SCID-CT, MADRS, C-SSRS and CAPS-5. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
