DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As a seasonal Park Maintenance Worker with the Tuscarora State Park Complex, your role involves various manual tasks in construction and maintenance. You will primarily work independently on tasks such as mowing grass, cutting weeds, and picking up litter.
For larger projects, you will collaborate with team members to repair buildings and facilities using tools from carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and other trades. You will assist skilled workers with sewage and water treatment operations. This includes operating wells, adding chlorine as instructed, conducting routine checks of the sewage treatment plant, and helping with sewage and water line repairs. You will manage and maintain the cleaning of park vehicles and equipment. Interested in learning more? Additional details regarding this position can be found in the position description. - Seasonal full-time employment employment without benefits.
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience in laboring work including the use of tools and equipment used in maintenance or construction; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
