Our Team

Koch Global Services is seeking a Network Operations Intern to help provide transformative technology and support to various Koch companies. This internship offers a unique opportunity to be involved in the critical operations of firewalls, proxies, and other essential platforms designed to keep the Koch enterprise network secure. The internship will run for 12 weeks from late-May to early August 2025

What You Will Do

  • Assist the network operations team in maintaining and optimizing network infrastructure.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of security tools, procedures, and controls.
  • Perform tests to uncover vulnerabilities and provide recommendations to improve cybersecurity posture.
  • Collaborate with team members to document and implement network changes.
  • Support the execution of project deliverables to ensure timely completion.
  • Engage in creating status reports, customer reports, and presentations.
  • Assist in remediating vulnerabilities to maintain high-security standards.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Currently enrolled in a degree or certificate program related to one of the following areas: Information Systems, Cyber Security, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related IT field
  • Eligible for full-time employment by August of 2026
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Initiative, natural curiosity, strong communication skills, and an aptitude for fast-paced learning
  • Experience in an IT related field
  • Understanding or proficiency in network operations and cybersecurity principles
