Job Description Summary
Under the supervision from the Dean of the College of Business, with additional oversight from the Associate and Assistant Deans, the Director of Innovation Hub & Stahl Center for Entrepreneurship ( DIHSCE) shall perform high level administrative duties in relation to and in conjunction with the functions that are germane to the College of Business & Graduate School of Management. This is a full-time grant funded position.
The Director is responsible for the development and day-to-day operations of the Lewis University Innovation Hub in becoming a regional entrepreneurial hub that addresses economic and social entrepreneurial needs and prepares students to be successful in a global and changing world. The Director provides leadership and a clear strategic direction toward the achievement of program excellence that offers a creative and robust learning environment and provides students and the community with exposure to leading edge innovators and business leaders.

Responsibilities
Responsible to model the University Mission through dedicated job performance, service excellence to constituencies, respectful collaboration and active support of the University's Mission and Catholic and Lasallian higher education.
1. Direct all entrepreneurial programming within DIHSCE that serves internal stakeholders (faculty, staff, students) and external stakeholders (alumni, community members), through a variety of programs including, but not limited to: training classes, workshops, practice sessions, competitions, mentorships and other innovative approaches.
2. The Director collaborates with University faculty in developing curriculum in support of Entrepreneurship program and development of entrepreneurial thinking in students on campus, including students in non-business curriculums.
3. Creation and maintenance of a data base for mentors, instructors, and potential Accelerator clients, including the renewal and maintenance of relationships.
4. Identifies and maintains a strategic portfolio of entrepreneurial related programmatic assets to enhance the entrepreneurial skillset of our constituents and benchmark best-in-class opportunities.
5. Work with campus and community partners to identify and implement a range of activities, programs, and learning opportunities that positively impact the development of an entrepreneurial campus.
6. Develop and maintain a strong presence on diversity, equity and inclusion at all times.
7. Apply a highly creative, caring, and collaborative spirit to keep programming fresh, relevant, and engaging.
8. Direct and lead DIHSCE' programming including, but not limited to: Br. Joel Damian Business Plan & Pitch Competition, Entrepreneur-in-Residence, ENACTUS (student entrepreneurial organization), Global Entrepreneurship Week
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Other related duties as assigned by the Dean and/or Assistant/Associate Dean(s).
2. Support transformational change to achieve institutional vision and strategies.
Minimum Qualifications
1. Master's degree from a regionally accredited institution in Entrepreneurship, Business, Engineering, or related fields and ten (10) years of experience with an established track record of success, bringing new ventures, ideas, products or services to the market.
2. Knowledge of current entrepreneurial ecosystems, including social entrepreneurship and the capacity to identify emerging trends, especially with prior experience within a higher education setting.
3. Software: MSOffice, Constant Contact, SurveyGizmo, SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics, MyEmma.
4. Exceptional analytical, organizational, time management, interpersonal, visual, and communication (verbal, strong writing, editing) skills.
5. Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office computer software (e.g. word processing, spreadsheets, presentation software, publication layout).
6. Ability to develop and maintain a working knowledge and understanding of university systems, policies, and procedures.
7. Self-motivated with a willingness to take initiative with tasks and projects while handling multiple projects at once.
8. Demonstrated work experience involving significant interaction and collaboration with others.
9. Professional attitude and disposition.
10. Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with sensitive information.
Preferred Qualifications
1. Bi-Lingual Conversational Fluency- Spanish
2. Five to eight years' professional experience in academia.
3. Experience in starting a successful enterprise is preferred
Essential Duties
Work hours
Full-time; Generally, Monday through Friday, 8:30 to 5:00. Some evenings and weekends will be required as need dictates resulting in flex schedule at certain times.
