We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking CDL Dump Truck Driver. The Dump Truck Driver for Encore Pavement in Wichita, KS is responsible for hauling asphalt, millings, crushed concrete, rock, sand, and dirt to and from the job site and local plants.

It is the driver's responsibility to ensure the products are delivered in a timely and safe manner and free of contamination. The driver is also responsible for keeping the truck clean and immediately reporting any issues to our shop for repairs.



Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

    Must be able-bodied, capable of lifting 50 lbs., and be able to climb in and out of a trailer if necessary.
  • Collaborate with crew members to ensure efficient workflow and quality outcomes.
  • Must be a reliable team player that shows up on time and has a strong work ethic.
  • Have attention to detail, ability to follow instructions from leadership, and have great communication skills.
  • Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor tasks.
  • Must possess the driving skill to safely back into and maneuver through jobsites.
  • Self-discipline to remain motivated when working alone.
  • A willingness to help asphalt and concrete crews when driving is not needed.
  • Availability to work 8-12+ hours a day and travel weekly/overnight all over Kansas and surrounding states
  • Follow and adhere to all safety related protocols
  • Perform daily maintenance checks and report any mechanical or safety issues to a supervisor

Qualifications:

  • At least 21 years old.
  • Possess a valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
  • Possess or be able to obtain a medical card.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment and random drug/alcohol screens, and a background check.
  • Pintle hitch knowledge, hooking up and pulling.
  • Combination vehicle experience.
  • ELD knowledge through a driving app. Samsara knowledge preferred.
  • 2 years construction environment experience preferred.
  • Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to communicate to mechanics about truck/trailer issues.
  • Air brake experience preferred.
  • Ability and knowledge on how to secure equipment safety.
