Summary:
The Communications and Public Affairs Manager role drafts, manages and executes communications. Responsibilities include creating copy and editing communications, overseeing proper formatting and delivery to the appropriate audiences through the appropriate channels, as well as managing select department functions or service relationships.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Bachelor's Degree required, with an emphasis in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related field preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: N/A
  3. Experience: Three years of progressive experience in marketing, planning, communications, public relations, market research, or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience in a healthcare setting required.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Project/process management, account management or related capabilities.
