As part of the Leased Housing team, the Housing Representative - Program Representative provides information and assistance to leased housing program participants with regards to eligibility and program requirements.

~If you have worked in customer service in fast paced environments that requires good time management skills, then this job is for you!

~If you have worked in banking, rental assistance or leased housing, at a front desk or performing quality and compliance work that requires strong attention to detail, this job is for you!

Training will be provided to candidates that have the willingness to learn and make a difference in people's lives.

The ideal candidate for this role will have the following:



  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills, timeliness and accuracy
  • Good attention to detail
  • Strong sense of urgency and time management skills
  • Ability to multitask efficiently
  • Familiarity with computers and data entry
  • Prior related experience preferred
  • Desire to work with low income, culturally diverse, and at-risk families and individuals
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Bi-lingual skills (English/Spanish or English/Khmer) preferred
  • Familiarity with housing regulations is a plus


Responsibilities include:



  • Communicate with clients by telephone, email or in person to provide information about services available or to handle any concerns
  • Screen client inquiries for eligibility
  • Check to ensure that appropriate changes are made to resolve client concerns:

    • Re-certifications/Lease-ups
    • Annual and interim income adjustments
    • Changes in family composition/Change of address
    • Move-outs/Transfers/Inspections




  • Maintaining client caseload as well as appropriate documentation ensuring compliance with program regulations
  • Explain program requirements, regulations and procedures to applicants, participants and owners
