JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or Psychology related field; two years' related work experience. Ability to develop and support assigned team members in order to provide consumer sensitive and appropriate services to those individuals in the Medication Clinic. Ability to collaborate with other Centerstone program staff and community agency staff. Has some training in the area of psychiatric rehabilitation and recovery and continues to participate in on-going education in areas of recovery, co-occurring disorders, housing, employment, and case management.

Preferred Qualification: Knowledge of community resources for adults with mental illness and co-occurring disorders. Understands phases of recovery and needs of consumers related to recovery. Demonstrates ability to engage and encourage consumers, instilling hope for recovery.

Special Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Highly motivated, self-directed, and excellent team building skills.

Essential Functions: Coordinates day-to-day functions and responsibilities for the Medication Clinic Case Managers and outpatient Medication Clinic nursing staff. Provides instruction, clinical supervision, and administrative guidance to Medication Clinic Case Managers and outpatient Medication Clinic nursing staff, Monitor performance, placement and productivity. Monitors budget and works with Director to develop action plans as needed. Maintains quality assurance standards by preparing for chart audits, compiling and reporting peer chart reviews and overseeing the collection of client satisfaction surveys. Provide on-going feedback to Director. Develops and supports assigned team members in order to provide consumer sensitive and appropriate services to individuals in the Medication Clinic. Coordinates with Medical Services to ensure overall Medication Clinic goals and objectives are met. Participates in developing and maintaining community partnerships. Assists with development and implementation of long-range goals and annual objectives for program.

Work Environment/Physical Demands: Works in well-lighted areas. Sits, stands, bends, lifts and moves intermittently during work hours. Is subject to frequent interruptions. Is involved with clients, residents, family members, personnel, visitors, government agencies/personnel, etc., in a behavioral health setting.

Position Type, Expected Hours of Work and Travel: This is a full-time position, and the expected work hours are 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday - 8:30-5:00. Some early morning, evening, and weekend hours when needed.
