Description & Requirements
The Manager, Blockchain Products is responsible for managing the oversight of products and product development in the firm's Digital Asset practice. This role involves engaging with a broad spectrum of stakeholders-including business leaders, clients, and internal professionals-to ensure the successful development and implementation of digital asset products. The Manager, Blockchain Products will manage both internal and external digital asset products, ensuring alignment with the firm's goals and client needs. This role is designed for an individual who excels in navigating complex business environments and driving product innovation in an emerging practice.
How you will contribute:
  • Oversee the lifecycle of digital asset products from conception to launch
  • Develop product roadmaps and ensure alignment with business objectives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and specifications
  • Monitor and analyze product performance, making data-driven decisions for improvements
  • Work with developers, consultants, and others to develop and implement effective solutions
  • Conduct interviews to gather user requirements via workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods
  • Where applicable, develop prototypes of interfaces and attributes based on the user requirements
  • Participate in the QA of internally developed and purchased solutions to ensure features and functions meet requirements and have been enabled and optimized
  • Perform project management and leadership tasks on assigned projects
  • Evaluate build-or-buy options, building business case for major expenditures.
  • To the extent client service engagements require the use of a blockchain product, provide timely, ad-hoc SME support for client engagements in audit, tax, and consulting
  • Engage with clients to understand their needs and translate them into product features.
  • May be asked to manage other blockchain and digital assets team members
  • Plan, coordinate, and lead necessary meetings
  • Collaborate with the Digital Asset steering committee to align with strategic goals
  • Participate in key industry associations such as the Wall Street Blockchain Alliance
  • Assist with the successful completion of the firm's annual digital asset fellowship.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5 years or more of relevant experience
  • Experience with software development, system selection, and system implementation projects
  • Experience working with application and service vendors
  • Knowledge of:
    • The overall digital asset ecosystem and relevant concepts such as hashing, seed phrases, tokenization, and blockchain.
    • Blockchain technology and core concepts related to smart contracts
    • Digital asset custody models, including self-custody and controls around each
    • Regulatory developments in the digital asset industry
    • Blockchain explorers and how to interpret the information contained within
    • Digital asset subledgers such as Cryptio, Bitwave, or others
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in an accounting firm, consulting firm, or law firm
  • Experience with SQL Server or equivalent databases
  • Experience with prototyping software
  • Experience with document, content and data management solutions
  • Experience with automated workflow or BPM systems
  • Experience with cloud computing solutions
