Shipping & Receiving Overview: The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and managing the shipping of aircraft parts and related materials in support of Sun Country Maintenance activities. These responsibilities include all shipping, receiving, security, and proper disposal of all aircraft parts and related materials. This position works directly with Repair, Material and AOG Coordinators to support daily shipping and receiving requirements. The position involves overseeing the shipment and tracking of materials; ensuring that materials are shipped on time, packaged properly and at the most cost-effective rate to meet the delivery schedule. This position will be responsible for tracking incoming and outbound shipments and resolving issues that may arise during the shipping / receiving process. Work Environment: This job works in a hangar and stockroom, which are subject to dust and noise due to their proximity of airport runways and hangar operations. This position also must work in inclement weather conditions. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift frequently and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, and team lift up to 120 pounds.
