SUMMARY Mortenson is currently seeking a Risk Analyst that will provide analytical support in all areas of Risk Management to a variety of team members across the company. The focus of the position is on providing consistent, high-level support in analysis of the overall risk profile of the company. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Compile and analyze data related to trade partners, financial metrics, project limits, and a variety of Risk Management measurements
- Design, develop, and maintain reporting standards within Risk Management
- Assist in analysis of external and captive insurance programs within Risk Management
- Administration of captive insurance programs including, but not limited to monthly claim and premium reporting, consulting with third-party actuaries for annual analyses, and support of annual audits
- Build or maintain statistical and regression models to assist in Risk Management decision making
- Build and maintain company dashboards in Microsoft PowerBI to communicate analytics and metrics to business leaders across the organization
- All other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of five years of professional experience, or three years of specific risk management, business analytics, data science, or actuarial experience
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
- Strong detail orientation
- Effective communication and active listening skills
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Advanced skills in Microsoft PowerBI or other data visualization tools
- Proven positive and professional attitude and strong customer service skills
- Strong leadership, communication, problem solving, initiative, and teamwork skills
- Construction-related business experience preferred but not required

The base pay range for this role is $77,500 - $116,300 (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%). Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. #LI-TD1 #LI-Hybrid Please make note:
