SUMMARY Mortenson is currently seeking a Risk Management Coordinator to support the risk management department with coordination of insurance contracts, risk program operations, claims, pre-qualification procedures, policies and general department operations. Provide overall assistance in support of the operating group efforts to manage risk. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the administration of Mortenson's contractor-controlled insurance program (CCIP)
- Review and track trade partner insurance certificates to enable reporting capabilities on overall compliance
- Communicate requirements to project teams, external customers, trade partners, and insurance agents
- Support insurance certificates and endorsements compliance reporting to help inform project and operating group leadership
- Ensure data integrity for all fields within RMIS insurance certificate database
- Verify and reconcile all certificates and endorsements submitted by trade partners
- Calculate key compliance metrics established by Mortenson for evaluation of trade partner insurance coverage
- Support management of Risk Management Information System (RMIS)
- Enter Pre-Proposal Project Reports into Microsoft Planner and assign tasks to team members
- Backup role for bond issuance
- Issue insurance certificates for Mortenson agreements
- Manage mail to pull insurance checks & medical bills
QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate's degree or minimum two years support experience in construction or insurance industry
- Ability to work in a cross-functional, collaborative, team-based environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and RMIS database system (Riskonnect)
- Ability to learn various complex computer programs/database systems (RMIS, CRM and Pre-Qual)
- Well organized and strong attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Positive, professional attitude and excellent customer service skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Open to change based on diverse input and feedback
- Effectively work with those of diverse backgrounds and organizational levels
- Adaptive, effective communication and active listening skills
- Strong cross-cultural relationship building and influencing at all organizational levels
- Experience in data management experience preferred
- Familiarity with surety, liability, builder's risk insurance preferred

The base pay range for this role is $43,000 - $58,100. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%). Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity. #LI-TD1 #LI-Hybrid
