Position Overview
Primary Purpose of Position |
The Senior Director for Campus Enterprises will be responsible for overseeing services provided by the food service provider, with direct oversight of the Director of Retail and Director of Real Property. This position will provide supervision for the Building Environmental Specialist and Facility Maintenance Supervisor. Responsibilities include strategically leading and developing the campus dining program, retail operations, and catering platforms to enhance performance by setting clear, accountable performance measures. This position will drive revenue growth and develop new revenue-generating entities while assisting with business development initiatives in food services, catering, and retail food operations. Additionally, the Senior Director for Campus Enterprises will create a culture and processes that achieve business goals and objectives, emphasizing customer service excellence. |
Primary Function of Organizational Unit |
Campus Enterprises is a visible support unit on the campus providing essential service to students, faculty, staff, parents and visitors. Campus Enterprises is comprised of the University's self-supporting entities.
The strategic goal of Campus Enterprises encompasses achieving operational excellence, generating revenue, and providing outstanding customer service satisfaction. In addition, Campus Enterprises provides management support to the intercollegiate athletics program to efficiently and effectively preserve athletic resources as well as fiscal oversight to the Division of Student Affairs and all student driven entities.
Organizationally, Campus Enterprises resides in the Division of Business and Finance. The Associate Vice Chancellor reports to the Vice Chancellor of Business and Finance. The department serves a vast and diverse customer-base that consists of eight functional units: Dining Services, Aggie OneCard, University Bookstore, Ticket Office, Mail Center, Real Property, Vending, Concession and Parking & Transportation. |
Minimum Requirements |
Bachelor's degree and three years of experience in the area of assignment, of which at least one is supervisory or in a lead-worker capacity; or an equivalent combination of training and experience |

All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Bachelor's Degree in institution management, hotel and restaurant administration, business administration, finance, accounting or related field
AND five years of management/administrative experience including planning and budgeting. Additional qualifying food service work experience in large-scale food preparation will be considered. |
Required License or Certification |
A ServSafe Manager Certification or an equivalent food safety certification, which ensures knowledge of food handling, sanitation and safety standards. |
