Job Title: Software Development Engineer
Location(s): Bellevue, WA
The WW Returns & ReCommerce team is looking for a Software Development Engineer to support the development of software and systems to enhance the customer returns experience and improve the recovery options. Your solutions will impact our customers directly!
Primary responsibilities include:
- Participation in the design, development, implementation , testing, and documentation of large-scale distributed software applications, tools, systems, and services.
- Working alongside development on clinet Corporate and Divisional Software projects, updating/enhancing our current software, automation of support processes of our systems.

- The ideal candidate is interested in a career in software development and is looking to utilize and expand their coding skills and gain exposure to a wide variety of software applications.
- They must be detail oriented, have superior verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, are able to work independently and can maintain professionalism under pressure.

Degrees / Certs and/or Experience Required:
- A Computer Science or equivalent technical degree and 2-5 years of relevant experience is required.
- Other desired technical skills include: SQL, HTML, UNIX/LINUX
- They must be detail oriented, have superior verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, are able to work independently and can maintain professionalism under pressure.
Preferred Qualifications / Nice to Have's:
- Preferred coding skills: C/C++ and/or Java.
Performance Indicators:
- The team will help define weekly/biweekly milestone for the assigned work which can consist of ramp up, low level design, development, coding and candidate is expected to complete them as per defined timelines.
Experience:
- Java coding experience and familiarity with frameworks utilizing IOC (Spring/Guice).
- Experience with micro services development and deployments.
- Familiarity with AWS technologies like S3, Dynamo DB, Step functions, SQS, Kinesis, RDS etc.
