The Events Project Manager is tasked with developing and managing a comprehensive event strategy for large-scale, enterprise-wide conferences catering to a global audience. This role requires detailed planning and execution of timelines, budget management, resource allocation, and seamless coordination with internal teams and external vendors to ensure every aspect of the event is covered. The Events Project Manager will act as the central point of contact for all event-related activities, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and delivering exceptional event experiences. Key Responsibilities: *Event Planning and Management: oDevelop and manage the overall event plan, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. oCreate and manage an event budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation and providing ongoing reporting oCultivate strong relationships with leadership, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure alignment on event objectives and seamless coordination. oEstablish clear roles, responsibilities, and accountability within the event team to streamline decision-making and enhance communication. oFacilitate cross-departmental collaboration to ensure all aspects of the event, such as content development, technical production, and hospitality, are executed smoothly. oProvide regular updates and reports on event progress, addressing any changes, decisions needed, risks, or issues promptly. *Coordination and Logistics: oCoordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure all aspects of the event are covered. oOversee all logistical aspects of the event, including vendor management, and on-site coordination. oPartner with HR on list management oPlan and oversee on-site event operations, including setup, execution, and teardown, ensuring a seamless experience for all attendees and participants. oManage event-related contracts and ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and safety requirements. *Event Communications: oWork with the marketing and internal communications team to develop and execute and integrated communication strategy for all internal audiences. oOversee the creation of event materials, including invitations, programs, signage, agendas, speaker bios, session descriptions and presentation content. *Post-Event Evaluation: oConduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback, measure success against objectives, and identify areas for improvement. oPrepare a comprehensive report on the event's success and lessons learned. *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Experience: *5+ years of experience in project management *Proven experience in managing large-scale events, preferably with 1000+ attendees. *Proven ability to perform well under pressure, managing high demand and tight deadlines. *Experience working with global teams and Executive Leadership. *Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills. *Experience working collaboratively with internal teams and external vendors. *Proficiency in event management software and other relevant tools. *Bachelor's degree *Willingness to work on-site for the conference to oversee operations and ensure a seamless experience for all attendees and participants. Skills: *Resourceful self-starter with the ability to independently drive progress and adapt in ambiguous situations. *Effective networking and influencing abilities to coordinate across varied teams. *Ability to quickly grasp new concepts and apply leveraging a consultative skillset. *Ability to pivot between strategic thinking to anticipate long-term challenges and tactical execution to effectively address immediate needs. *Confident in proposing new ideas and integrating feedback, even under executive scrutiny. *Proficient in event management and documentation tools (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint). *Excellent written and verbal communication, adaptable to all organizational levels. *Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and collaborate with diverse stakeholders. *Experience Level* Expert Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $72.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
