Long Term Contract - 12-18 months Hybrid Schedule - 3 days in office, will likely move to 5 days. Current state- organized by LOB/product Our financial client is looking for multiple Application Support Engineers to join the Infrastructure Production Management team supporting Consumer Banking line of business. Must have experience troubleshooting Linux/Unix and Windows, J2EE Platforms, JBoss, Apache Kafka, and/or Tomcat. MUST have strong scripting experience to be able to solve repetitive tasks through scripting. Should have cloud experience with AWS/Azure and middleware messaging technologies such as MQ and Kafka. This team will be tasked with establishing functions that will be automated or move to app dev and centralize under the line of business. This team will perform these functions until automated. This person should be Able to follow a technical runbook to: o Login to jump box, right to host, execute scripts/jobs, assess output and next steps o Use admin counsels to bounce platform components without negatively impacting other platform components o Use admin counsels to divert traffic during application deployments o Navigate legacy and cloud platforms in support of technical operations environments. o Make decisions in support of technical operations environments o Assess and act on system alerts that require technical intervention and escalation as needed. * Demonstrate technical aptitude and maturity when things don't go as planned in an operations environment. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $58.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
