Description Network Engineer Summary: A highly skilled Network Engineer with extensive experience in designing, implementing, and managing complex data networks. Proficient in Cisco routing and switching technologies, ensuring optimal network performance and security. Core Skills: * Data Networking: Expertise in network design, configuration, and troubleshooting. * Cisco Technologies: In-depth knowledge of Cisco routers, switches, and related technologies (e.g., Cisco IOS, NX-OS). * Routing Protocols: Proficient in OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, and other routing protocols. * Switching Technologies: Skilled in VLANs, STP, VTP, and other Layer 2 technologies. * Network Security: Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and network access control. * Performance Optimization: Ability to monitor and optimize network performance. * Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills. Certifications: * Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Experience Provide onsite and remote network administration and support in a 24x7 operation Ensure continuous operation through proactive planning, maintenance and monitoring of critical IT networks and supporting systems across multiple sites Setup, troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Cisco and Meraki wireless, switching, and routing Provide technical support for network security platforms including Cisco ISE and Secure Network Analytics Effectively communicate and coordinate IT activities and issue resolution with key stakeholders Administer, maintain, and optimize network infrastructure comprised of Cisco Catalyst 9000 and IE3000 series switches, wireless controllers, and access points with DNA Center and Cisco ISE.
