Summary of Position

Kinsley Materials is seeking anAggregate Technicianto join our team. This role is crucial in maintaining our high-quality assurance standards. As an Aggregate Technician, you will work to ensure that our products and materials meet required specifications. We're looking for someone with a positive attitude and strong work ethic who is eager to learn and grow within our company. We will provide training and certification opportunities to help you succeed in this role.

Typical Responsibilities / Essential Functions

  • Ensure product standards are met.
  • Conduct aggregates and batch plant tests, including daily graduation and moisture tests.
  • Check concrete loads for proper procedure and time of mixing.
  • Conduct quality assurance tests on trial batches of new concrete mix designs, adjusting as necessary.
  • Troubleshoot customer issues and provide appropriate resolution.
  • Assist with training plant personnel and drivers as needed.
  • Perform laboratory tests on aggregates.
  • Complete additional tasks, such as facility cleaning and equipment maintenance, as required.
  • Perform other related functions as needed.

Experience & Education

  • Strong organizational skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent the company positively when interacting with customers.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic mathematical skills and computer proficiency, including familiarity with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to perform basic material calculations.
  • Dependable and able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Flexible and able to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
