Associate Director of Procurement Management

The Associate Director of Procurement Management at One Main is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end sourcing process within their assigned Procurement categories. This role requires a seasoned professional with deep expertise in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and senior-level stakeholder engagement. The Associate Director will lead large-scale procurement initiatives, directly influence organizational decision-making, and ensure alignment with OneMain's goals. With a focus on building value-driven partnerships and fostering innovation, the Associate Director will play a pivotal role in optimizing procurement processes, driving cost efficiencies, and mitigating risks, all while supporting the organization's long-term growth and operational excellence.

In the Role:

  • Develop and implement category strategies that drive value, cost savings, and quality improvements for the assigned category.
  • Conduct advanced market analysis to identify industry trends, supplier capabilities and competitive landscape within assigned categories.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, ensuring alignment between procurement initiatives and business priorities.
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships to ensure alignment with category strategy.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, collaborating across operations, finance, and legal teams, to meet organizational objectives.
  • Lead the end to-end sourcing process for the category, including the preparation and management of RFPs, supplier selection, and contract negotiations.
  • Develop performance metrics and reporting systems to measure procurement impact, communicating actionable insights to leadership.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure long term partnership and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 7+ years of experience in Procurement, category management, or strategic sourcing, with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong understanding of category management principles Procurement processes, and best practices, including experience in RFP drafting
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data and develop actionable insights.
  • Extensive experience engaging and influencing senior stakeholders and executive teams
  • Proven negotiation skills with experience in managing high value contracts and supplier relationships.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, with a history of successfully managing cross-functional teams and driving enterprise-wide initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience in managing cross-functional teams and leading strategic sourcing initiatives.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to ethical procurement practices.

Preferred:

Master's degree in related field

Proficiency with procurement platforms such as Coupa
