Part-time Laboratory Technician

Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry, Laboratory of Prof. Katz, is seeking an individual to serve as a part-time Laboratory Technician. No special knowledge, skills or preliminary experience required.

* Receive, login and store reagents, standards and solvents as per established by lab standard operating procedures.
* Cleaning up glassware and maintain an organized lab e.g., ordering lab consumables (plastic, gloves, printing paper, etc.), refilling the tips boxes, keep clean lab space, etc.
* Preparation of analytical solution and samples following the detailed procedures

Education:
Minimal Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalency
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor degree

* Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
* Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, and to work with shifting priorities and schedules.
