Summary:

The Talent Program Manager will support the development, deployment, and continuous improvement of global Talent Management programs, processes, and supporting tools and resources to ensure STERIS has the talent to meet current and future business needs. The manager will also develop and implement employee survey strategies and analyze data to provide actionable insights to enhance the overall employee experience.

Reporting to the Director of Talent Management, this position will lead and manage multiple talent programs, including supporting project management, process and program design, communication/training, reporting and analytics, user adoption, and change management activities. The ideal candidate will leverage cutting-edge best practices, innovative strategies, and data-driven insights to craft and execute talent management solutions that drive substantial business success.

What you will do as a Talent Program Manager:

  • Serves as the process/program lead and subject-matter expert (SME) for multiple talent management processes, programs, and tools. For example, Talent Reviews, Performance Management, Succession Planning, and other key Talent Management programs based on current business needs.
  • Leads new and ongoing global deployment and execution of key talent management processes and programs, including process and program/design, deployment strategy development and communication, outcome measurement and reporting, and user adoption/change management support.
  • Builds strong relationships with business leaders and HR teams to understand talent needs and drive strategic talent objectives, considering organizational readiness and capacity for change.
  • Establishes and maintains a strong working relationship with HR System Administrators to ensure talent modules within SuccessFactors are effectively designed and deployed to support desired outcomes of talent processes and programs.
  • Tracks, monitors, analyzes and reports key performance indicators/metrics, including utilization/user adoption, key business/talent outcomes and stakeholder feedback for key talent management programs, processes and tools. Leverages this analysis to identify opportunities and need for intervention(s). Evaluates and ensures equitable process outcomes and identifies and mitigates/removes process barriers and bias.
  • Prepares proposals and executive summary presentations for key internal stakeholder audiences (Talent Management and HR Leadership, Business Executives) and supports external reporting requirements.
  • Manages and maintains existing vendor relationships and supports the evaluation of new external vendors and offerings as needed.
  • Stays current talent management trends and best practices, recommending innovative enhancements to improve current processes, programs, and tools.
  • Partners closely with Talent Center of Excellence (COE) teams to ensure alignment and integration of talent management and development philosophies, processes, programs, and tools.

The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed:

Required



  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Organizational Psychology or related field required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressively responsible Human Resources experience within a multi-national, geographically dispersed organization.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in the following areas/disciplines:

    • Performance management
    • Employee Engagement/Listening Strategy

  • Strong organizational and project/team leadership/management skills, including creating and managing multi-stream project plans, directing and deploying team resources, monitoring work progress, and achieving project milestones.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing employee surveys and listening strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights. Excellent storytelling and presentation skills to effectively communicate findings.
  • Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication with an emphasis on influence, consultation, and the creation of compelling business cases at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining strong working relationships with team members, HR colleagues, stakeholders, and external vendors and partners.
  • Exceptional analytical , problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities to evaluate and continuously refine processes, practices, and tools within areas of responsibility.
  • Experienced in developing thorough business understanding, creating strategic partnerships, and executing solutions to tackle essential business issues.
  • Skilled in small and large-group facilitation.
  • Comfortable with complexity, ambiguity, and change. Strong demonstrated learning agility.
  • Strong general technical proficiency and aptitude, including proficiency with Microsoft Office and advanced Excel skills.

Pay range for this opportunity is $91,000 - 125,000.This position is eligible for company bonus plan.

Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.

Employees (and their families) may enroll in our company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, flexible spending, health savings account, voluntary benefits, supplemental life/AD&D plans and the company's 401k plan. Employees are covered by an employee assistance program (also available to household members) and long-term disability. Full-Time Employees are also eligible for short-term disability. Full-time Employees will also receive Paid Time Off (PTO) based on years of service and paid Holidays. Part-time employees working 20 or more hours receive a pro-ration of the full-time PTO allocation and paid Holidays based on their standard hourly work week. Full-Time employees are eligible for four weeks of paid parental leave. Part-time employees also receive paid parental leave, pro-rated based on their standard hourly work week.
