Summary:
TheContract Administration Senior Manager will support the broad STERIS Healthcare sales effort by leading a team that supports Customer contracting activities. This role will serve as a key legal & business terms resource to Customers, field personnel, and sales leadership. Additionally, this role will ensure all Customer requirements are met within the STERIS Corporate profitability objectives. This is a remote based in the United States. The Contract Administration Senior Managerwill:
- Work to ensure a robust understanding of STERIS competition
- Partner with Corporate Account Directors, Strategic Account Directors, Area Vice Presidents, Vice Presidents, and others to provide guidance for relevant GPO, IDN, and Strategic Account Customer Contracts.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for customer legal terms & conditions,
- Instruct business rules, partnering with business process owners from Quote-to-Cash, ensuring STERIS can execute.
- This role will serve as a key leadership contract resource to Customers, field personnel, sales leadership and IPS General Managers.
- Additionally, this role will ensure all customer requirements are met within the STERIS Corporate profitability objectives
What you will do as Contract Administration Senior Manager
- Act as the subject matter experts on all IPS Customer and business contracts. Seek understanding of business objectives and support those objectives throughout the contracting process.
- Act as a liaison with outside firms, as necessary.
- Escalate to STERIS Corporate Counsel and External Legal Counsel as needed to ensure appropriate risk mitigation.
- Establish lean work processes across the broad, Customer contract administration process. Identify ways to improve processes, eliminate waste and reduce cost in the process.
- Take appropriate action to maintain compliance of new processes. Drive continuous improvement and quality across the team.
- Confer with STERIS business & operational leadership, Customers and other legal counsel on a variety of contract topics. Serve as a legal & business escalation point for the broad, STERIS Healthcare business including Service, SPM, STERIS Endoscopy, etc.
- Negotiate compliance-oriented agreements with assigned STERIS Customers in order to develop long term relationships and maintain a favorable image of STERIS Corporation.
- Interface directly with the STERIS customers in support of STERIS' sales effort.
- Review, detail, and prepare bids/contracts for the America's Healthcare group. Review, approve and accept contracts for STERIS to include details such as pricing, delivery, terms and conditions, taxes, and ensure compliance with Federal, State, Provincial, and Local laws. Ensure appropriate signatories based on STERIS standard operating procedures.
- Evaluate Customer RFP, Tender, and Bid requests for adequate information and determine products to bid on based on bid specifications. Obtain added details from sales, Product Managers, manufacturing, legal, and other appropriate departments as required. Process RFP, Tender, Bid requests within established time frame.
- Interface with various departments within STERIS to ensure completion of RFP's, Tenders, and Bids & Customer contracts to meet customers due date. Departments may include, Product Management, Manufacturing, Field Sales, Corporate & Strategic Accounts, Legal, etc.
- Review RFP's, Tenders, Bids and Contracts for application of pre-negotiated pricing policies, i.e. National Accounts and government contracts.
- Establish and maintain RFP, Tender, Bid, and Customer Contract document files, to include maintenance of current and historical records regarding pricing, costs, and awards. Drive towards electronic file sharing & storage.
- Communicate awards to appropriate Product Managers, Sales Leadership, Finance and Customer Service teams.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience, Skills, and Abilities Needed:
Required
- Juris Doctorate
- 12years of proven management experience in overseeing, managing and/or coordinating large, complex contracts, agreements and/or vendors
- Experience working in a large, healthcare environment; knowledge of hospital market
- Knowledge of consumable and capital product lines. Demonstrated experience in comprehending complex legal material
- Demonstrated organizational skills and the ability to work independently
- Demonstrated track record in providing exceptional Customer service
- Demonstrated ability to work successfully in a consultative environment

- Knowledge Healthcare Corporate Accounts
- Training and understanding of LEAN principles

#LI-SA2 #ZRSA-1 #LI-Hybrid Pay range for this opportunity is$91,000 - $127,000.This position is eligible for bonus participation. Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc. Employees (and their families) may enroll in our company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, flexible spending, health savings account, voluntary benefits, supplemental life/AD&D plans and the company's 401k plan. Employees are covered by an employee assistance program (also available to household members) and long-term disability. Full-Time Employees are also eligible for short-term disability.
