Job Summary:

Successful candidate will be assigned to projects involving the mechanical design, development, and production of medium voltage adjustable speed drives. The Mechanical Engineer will work following marketing specifications for new products, and support project and sales engineers in applying the products. The engineer will work closely their team to perform various functions of drive design, including drive structure and support, design for specific environments, vibration analysis, stress analysis, temperature management and design. The Engineer will provide engineering expertise to drafters/designers/production personnel on production orders.

Responsibilities:



  • Analyze requirements from customers and develop design solutions
  • Prepare bills of materials
  • Assist to build prototypes
  • Create test procedures in accordance with relevant industrial standards
  • Design and develop cost analysis, test, handle implementation, analysis of products, systems, and new technology
  • Produce approval drawings and manufacturing drawings
  • Process feedback from manufacturing
  • Assist marketing, manufacturing, and field service with engineering-related issues
  • Organize instruction manual
  • Research STD data base
  • Manage projects and design review system
  • Develop and maintain engineering standards/processes


    Requirements:



    • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline required
    • 2-7 years of experience in mechanical design minimum
    • Innovative Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrate a track record of
      creative thinking and the ability to devise innovative solutions to
      complex mechanical engineering challenges.
    • Hands-on Experience with Creo Parametric and AutoCAD Software:
      Proficiency in utilizing industry-leading tools such as Creo Parametric
      and AutoCAD to design, model, and analyze mechanical systems.
    • Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Ability to work seamlessly with
      professionals from diverse disciplines, fostering a collaborative and
      holistic approach to engineering projects.
    • Effective Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal
      communication skills to facilitate clear and efficient collaboration within
      multidisciplinary teams.
    • Project Management Abilities: Proven skills in project planning,
      execution, and successful delivery, showcasing the ability to manage
      and lead projects effectively
      Software: Creo Parametric (+Thermal and structural), AutoCad, &
      Office.
