POSITION SUMMARY
The Manager, Commercial Brand + Marketing will be responsible for creative and brand management of JBG SMITH corporate brand and its branded Commercial properties with a strong focus on National Landing (JBG SMITH at National Landing). This role will support the Vice President, Commercial in the tactical planning and execution of marketing campaigns in support of Office Leasing including large corporate pursuits and high-priority portfolio-wide initiatives. This will require very strong partnership across the Brand + Marketing verticals and key business units-including Leasing, Development, Asset Management and Investments -to ensure business goals and objectives are met. This position requires strong coordination and communications skills, attention to detail, as well as an aptitude for creative and strategic thinking.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Provide multi-faceted marketing support across commercial portfolio largely focused on National Landing, which represents over 75% of our portfolio
- Support incoming marketing requests from Office Leasing, Asset Management, Property Management and Investments/Strategic Initiatives/Innovation teams
- Execute on delivery of programmatic weekly eBlast campaign(s) across entire portfolio
- Proofread and edit copy for various marketing collateral across owned, earned and paid channels to maintain quality control and ensure consistent brand voice and high-quality content
- Develop and maintain broker swag and giveaways and other creative broker engagement programs
- Maintaining accuracy of stats and asset libraries which all marketing channels pull from, including but not limited to, fact sheets, presentations, Experience Center content, property websites, corporate website, digital ads, photography, renderings, videography, etc.
- Website maintenance and updates as necessary (jbgsmith.com and nl.jbgsmith.com)
- Basic graphic design for signage, collateral, campaigns, etc.
- Develop innovative and effective marketing campaigns in support of property-level marketing and unique end users
- Develop and execute effective broker, industry, and leasing events
- Monitor and support industry and broker sponsorships and charitable contributions for Commercial Leasing Team
- Draft creative briefs in support of business goals and objectives and work closely with the Creative team as well as outside agencies on content development.
- Update and maintain Industry broker list
- Manage and track all marketing-related invoices and maintain annual property budgets, including the Shared National Landing Marketing Budget
- Manage and oversee agency and vendor partnerships
- Draft and coordinate Professional Service Agreements (PSAs) and Task Orders with Legal, as needed
- Assist in backfill coverage at the National Landing Experience Center, as needed
- Develop and manage social media strategy specific to Office Leasing and placemaking efforts including assisting with the development and execution of social content
- Work closely with the Creative team to develop print and digital marketing materials such as brochures, property flyers, presentation materials, ads, eblasts, social content, websites, etc.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED (REQUIREMENTS)
- A bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline
- A minimum of 3-5+ years' experience in marketing and project management within the professional services realm (commercial real estate preferred); digital/performance marketing experience a plus;
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, Figma, and Constant Contact required
- Experience overseeing the design and production of various print and digital marketing materials and campaigns;
- Experience in the design and management of website and social media tools;
- Strong creative, strategic, analytical, and organizational skills;
- Ability to perform multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and to work under pressure while maintaining a professional attitude;
- Excellent management and interpersonal skills and proven track record of strong creative development skills.
- Self-starter, strategic thinker, highly-motivated and enthusiastic collaborative team member;
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate and solve practical problems or resolve issues and generate solutions;
- Strict attention to detail and eye for design;
- Strategic and execution-oriented: ability to start with a blank slate, operationalize the final solution, and lead all the steps in between;

The salary range for this position is $85,000 - $100,000. JBG SMITH offers a bonus program and a competitive benefits package; including up to $5,200 annual reimbursement for professional development opportunities.
