This position requires being onsite in Wyoming, MI 4 days/week. Collaborates with Category Management Teams, Supply Chain Teams, Internal Freight Team, Sales Divisions, and Suppliers to support projects impacting multiple divisions that will ultimately drive improvement and efficiency in our supply chain. Leads cross-departmental projects to implement and develop best practices along with representing supply chain needs. Engages key suppliers to drive continuous improvement with Supply Chain metrics including Fill Rate and On Time performance. Continually strengthens supplier relationships and builds trust while holding suppliers accountable for solid supply chain performance. Leads Supply Chain in the following areas: Competitive Market Review (CMR) Process, Supplier Transitions, Supplier Business Reviews and strategic initiatives.
Essential Functions:
Represents Supply Chain in CMR Process and Supplier Business Reviews to help drive accountability for Supply Chain performance. Leads and coordinates supplier transitions across our distribution network. Coordinates Supply Chain activity in supplier consolidations, acquisitions, and shipping location changes. Develops recommendations for preparedness associated with supplier ERP implementations and upgrades. Acts as a principal contact between GFS Supply Chain and the supplier to ensure readiness and minimize any negative impact to our customers. Coordinates and leads Supply Chain and Category Management Team Meetings Provides recommendations for Supply Chain Category Team annual goals associated with service level, days on hand, and spoilage and liquidation. Benchmarks weekly and monthly performance metrics. Leads Supply Chain Category Teams in developing, documenting, and maintaining best practices. Utilizes reporting tools to identify Supply Chain performance and efficiency opportunities with Suppliers Leads strategy development and execution with Supply Chain counterparts at the Supplier, with support of the Category Management Teams to improve their performance. Responsible for innovative reporting to identify trends and opportunities within the supply chain. Performs other duties as assigned.

Sustaining Business Knowledge & Experience: stays current on trends and developments in areas of expertise. Uses this knowledge to make good business change decisions. Complex Problem Solving: identifies and helps to solve complex problems using related information to develop and evaluate options and solutions. Judgment and Decision Making: considers the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate solution that is in the best interest of the company's business objectives. Maintains a high level of integrity: always puts the company's objectives first, conducts analyses and provides solutions based on thoroughness and strict attention to detail. Bachelors Degree preferred Five or more years previous experience in Supply Chain Management or related fields highly preferred.
